Fletcher, he's a Mastiff Bloodhound mix 7 years old now. When we walk he looks both ways at the intersections and waits if he hears or sees a car. He's not a big fan of the shop or working on bikes. I'd love to get him in my brothers sidecar.

Fletcher's sick, can't pee even after treatment, he goes back to the Vet in the morning. I wasn't expecting this, he's been healthy as a horse. This is going to be a rough one if we can't get him back on track tomorrow.

Thanks round two of treatment, he has a baffled Vet. We may need to go to a veterinary school in Indiana.

Fletcher update, he's been in the hospital all week with a catheter, he's flowing his liquids and is getting some hard to find meds to help heal his bladder and corresponding muscles. I'm hoping he can come home tomorrow, they think there could have been a kidney stone hiding behind his pelvis in the x rays, we just have see what happens when they pull the tube.

I feel for the poor bugger.
Having a hose hanging out the end of your dick is no fun at all.
Lets hope there's no kidney damage.

Fletcher had no crystals and is flowing again. Pills and special food from now on. Now the poor boy dislocated his knee cap when his leg caught between the car seat sections. The vet put him back in place. I was three hours away racing and trying not to cry.

I was gone and left my wife and daughter to pick him up, I feel like #$%* for not staying home and picking him up in my truck. He's home now and I think it stopped popping when he walks. We're hoping for the best. He's lived a charmed life until recently.  His tail wagged this afternoon and he started talking to me again.

Sounds like he'll be fine - just trying to figure out wtf just happened.

We lost fletcher this morning. It turned out his leg was an annoyance he had bigger health problems the Vet came to the house to relieve his pain. This is the first time since we got married in 1973 there isn't at least one critter living with us. We need a long motorcycle ride.
