I'm still trying to figure it all out myself, reading the details, also gotta get my bike out of 3 years of mothballs!!!!
Better get to the job of pulling that bike out of mothballs; the relay has a way of sneaking up on you! I was turning wrenches until the very last minute last year, even though I thought I had lots of time. (Put the CT90 aside, for now. ;))

Hey guys...sorry to jump into the party late.  Last year I ran Godzilla from Lordsburg, NM to Phoenix.  Unfortunately I've been freakin' busy with "life" and haven't been logging on the board much lately.  But give me some time to catch up on all the posts and maybe I can help out in some way.

Maybe it COULD be on the itinerary?? Pat, would this be possible again? (A lap around the track, as well as a tour of APE?)

I p. messaged gregimotis and medic in Santa Fe, NM.  Greg promised to get back to me.  Angeldeville, hopefully these two Santa FE guys can committ to the relay.  I rode last year from border to border (east to west) in nm.  I sure hope these Santa Fe guys can help ease your time in the saddle.  I wonder where a good location would be for Angeldeville to handoff to the Santa FE guys if they can committ?

Hey, Scottly!  Yes, I made contact with Flick, only 45 minutes away from me!  I wish he could join me in the relay, but his bike is currently undergoing a rebuild.  It is torn apart to the frame.  I am hoping to take the handoff from the NM guy or guys and go to Austin rather than Dallas because I want to do the Texas hill country ride!  Thanks, Scottly for dealing with the headache of putting this thing together!

Hope you get to ride to Austin, then. You went above and beyond the call of duty last year!!! ;D (BTW, it's a TEAM effort; thank Jerry for putting up with last year's headaches, and Wilbur for putting up with this year's! Those guys have to deal with the whole relay, not just a few states. ;D)

A tour of APE is no problem.  A lap at the track is always a possibility.  The only issue is if the track is in use or not usually.  Since there are several tracks one of them will probably be available.

I am in Phoenix and would like to partake. I wouldn't mind helping him head east into Phoenix or west out of Phoenix, doesn't really matter to me. I would just like to have at least one other person to ride with if possible. My main 550 isn't exactly a long distance kinda ride, so this would be dependent on getting my new stock 550 up to par before then.

Your flexibility is much appreciated! Stay tuned; if we don't get more riders willing to head towards NM, you are welcome to ride along west to Joshua Tree. ;)

Hey, even if you don't find a bike in time, you are welcome to come along for the ride. You can be a support crew for CoachDoc and the other SoCal riders. If we all do end up camping at Joshua Tree, you can haul the necessities (beer and firewood) ;D ;D ;D

Paul, I am planning on doing the ride to CA and back, myself. I'll add you to the rider's list. It would be great if a few more riders could join up to ride towards NM. (Yes, it might get a bit chilly taking the I-40, so the southern route would be more comfortable ;))

For those of you meeting in Palmdale/Lancaster I will be at the Hampton Inn and Suites at 2300 W. Double Play Way Lancaster.  We can meet up there in the parking lot or elsewhere in town.  Just let me know and I will be there   :)

So what are the tentative dates for the PHX handoff? I need to plan accordingly, I've got a fishing trip planned at the end of the month and that is AZ bike week, so a lot going on. Wanna make sure I squeeze this in.

I'm planning on heading back to AZ on 3-26. We could do the hand-off that afternoon at Wickenburg, Morristown, or the intersection of hwy 74 and I-17..
