I'm ready to ride with anyone willing.  Kickstart, if you can get GZ my way and ride with me, I'd be thrilled.  I need to work during the week and I have unchangable plans for next weekend, so beyond Sunday I'm screwed for a long ride.  If it would be more convenient for you to take GZ and head to another rider more convenient to the relay, I won't be offended in the least.  I rode in the last relay and had plenty of fun.  Time is much tighter for me this time around.  So unless I can hand of to someone on Sunday, I may be at a loss.  I could do an evening round trip id need be within 100 miles radius to meet with ssomeone next week, but a long ride is not in the cards during the week.  I'm very open to options...

Let me know,

Yeah, I'm having trouble freeing up my weekend, and I can't take Monday off.  Next weekend is also a no-go for me.

If anyone else wants to jump in to get GZ, please speak up... no offense taken if someone else wants to pick up GZ.

I'm away next weekend, but I certainly don't need to be involved to make this happen.  My to do list is pretty extensive lately, and going for an all day ride tomorrow wouldn't be the best idea for me frankly.  If there is no clear plan, I'm not in a position to wing it.  Let me know.

I can't make tomorrow work... sorry.  I was really hoping to get GZ to PA this weekend.

I can't do the next two weekends either  >:(
I might be able to take a day off the first week in October to just to get GZ moving again... if we haven't moved him by then.

Considering the large gaps we always had in this region. He will be around. I am taking him through the Hudson Valley off and on.

Bobby, assuming my tires come this week and she is ready to roll this weekend, I could meet you north of Phily like Allentown?? on Sunday the 30th. Would it work for you? I would much prefer PA to the ocean route.

Sorry about the radio silence for the last week.  Work was a little crazy for the last 10 days (weekends included).... not that anyone wants to hear my excuses :)

Bobby, are you available this Saturday?  I can pick it up sometime in the afternoon if you are.

Thanks,
Chris

I took GZ for a tour on Saturday. I should post the Pics. We can meet in Sloatsburg NY, grab a bite to eat (on me),  shoot the #$%*.

Sounds great.  If you send me your number, I'll give you a call late morning / early afternoon on Saturday to figure out a specific time and location.  I'll be staying at my Friends house in Edgewater NJ Friday night... which I think is only about 45 minutes away.    We'll both coming on up (he also has a 75 CB750).

Anyone else want to join us?

Also, on that note.  My current plan is to ride back to the Philadelphia area Saturday afternoon / early evening, and then try to coordinate a hand-off to 70CB750 from Team Southeast Coastal, which is tentatively planned for the Lancaster / York area the following weekend, or earlier if possible.

Larry, George, let me know if you want to join in... or want to recommend an different itinerary.

Hey Bobby, I'll be riding up with Chris (Kickstart) this Saturday to meet you.  I suggest a biker bar called Rhodes Tavern right in the center of town.  If it's nice out, we can sit outside in the back by the creek.  Look forward to meeting up.

Probably 1pm   +/- an hour.

We'll give you a call before we leave... or as soon as we know when we'll be leaving.  (approximately an hour before we get there)... will that be enough heads-up for you?

Well I picked up GZ from Andy and the Boston crew. We went out a had a bite to eat in a small place filled with some locals and West Point Cadets. We had a great time and I was able to finally be among SOHC people and SOHC bikes.

I took GZ up the Hudson Valley and into the Mountains. it is very scenic:

GZ made quite an impression on the Tourists

He Started to grow a small crowd

It was time for GZ to move on, so I met Kickstart and Chris at a Bike friendly bar in Sloatsburg NY just over the line with NJ.

They had a problem with one of the Bikes so I was marooned at this Gin Mill for 3 hours. It was rough but I made it through.  ;D ;D

The boys made it, and I made it home just before the storms hit. GZ is on the move!

My problem was finding my bike out of all the bikes in the parking lot.

Wow, look at all those SOHC bikes... nice!

Thanks for sharing the scenery shots... it's always nice when the scenery is friendly :)

Again, Bobby, we are really really sorry we were so late meeting up with you.  We should have done better preparation the day before to make sure everything was in running order.   We were looking forward to swapping some stories. I'm glad to hear you made it home before the rain.  Thanks for holding out and waiting for us.

I've attached a picture of the GZ hand-off between Bobby and me.
Also attached a picture of GZ posing with an indian warrior at the bar.

Thanks Bobby.

OK... I'm posting on the Team Southeast Coastal thread now to coordinate the hand-off to 70CB750.
http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=111093.0

Larry, let me know your availability.  70CB750 would like to do Sunday (I know you said you were available Saturday afternoon)...
I figure we could all meet-up someone near you (Lancaster) on Sunday and then ride south with 70CB750 a little.
Or, if you don't have much availability on Sunday, maybe you and I could take GX south Saturday afternoon and meet-up with 70CB750 Saturday night / Sunday morning somewhere in MD.

Also, is anyone else available this weekend who wants to join us?

If you guys prefer Saturday I can skip bow hunting that weekend - bambis are not cooperating anyway -  and meet you on Saturday. GZ comes around once a year only afterall and the weather looks good too.

I plan to take him home through DC to get some pictures taken.

That sounds awesome. Are you going to touch Delaware too? We're getting into areas with higher concentrations of members... should be able to finish the home stretch with some excellent rides. We are shooting for Valdosta, GA on November 9th or 10th.
