I wasn't sure where to post this but can anyone, or has anyone, used a specific transport service they would recommend?

I'm shopping for an F-2 and found one 1500 miles from me. Would be cheaper to ship here than going to pick up.

U-Ship estimates $488.00. Not to bad really.

You couldn't do a rountrip to pickup for that price unless you were driving a PRIUS, but then it won't pull a trailer very well.

Boy, that would work but the time frame is to tight. I would have to wait untill a cashiers check cleared. Probably 10 days or so. Soonest would be end of month.

Well, I'm sure that isn't close. I have it posted now on U-Ship so will see if anything happens.

I can't buy the bike untill Wednesday, then 3 days to for the check to arrive and another 10 for it to clear. Dang, cashiers checks used to be good as cash.

I've used uship a few times, been happy with them. My shipper is based in TX, so that probably won't work.
I've used Bank of America cashiers checks, tell the seller to go there and cash it, he can get cash in hand immediately.

If the time frame was wider it would work. Well, I'll see tomorrow. Might stop at the bank and ask them. I just closed an account I had of BofA.
