« on: February 05, 2012, 12:10:46 PM »
I'm heading to Maui in 2 weeks to get married ;D. just wonderin if anyone knows a good bike rental place. I'm only looking to rent one for a day or 2 and anything bigger than a 500 that hauls 2 is good with me. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

You can rent a Honda 750 from these guys for $99 for 24 hours:

And I highly recommend riding the Road to Hana, one of the most scenic drives in the world!

I rented a Honda in Hawaii years ago and it was a trip I will never forget.
Let me know if you need any other info.

Congrats and have a great trip! Report back...

looks great! Sure wish that Ducati Monster they have was a little more comparatively priced... but probably best that it isn't because I bet tickets are expensive there lol

Funny that you mention tickets, I received seven when I was there!! Parking, speeding, no eye protection and driving in the car pool lane were what I got nailed for!!
Never paid any, cop said go home and don't come back!!! OK...

First off: book in advance. Everything gets rented and quick. I rented a Harley from some tourist shop in Lahaina. It was a nice bike, but it wasn't particularly cheap.

The guy who runs Hula Hogs was super nice and managed to use some local knowledge hook me up with a truck rental when everything on the Island was booked up for WEEKS. I told him that if I ever rented a bike on Maui again, I'd go straight to him.

+1 on the road out to Hanna.
