Topic: Tach/speedo mount collar missing - CB750F

I took apart my whole front-end to replace neck bearings & fork seals. While it was apart I painted everything and when I was reassembling it last night, I realized that one of the little collars that goes under the plate that the tach & speedo mount to is missing. P/N 80106-329-690 which is, of course, discontinued. None available on ebay either. Is there anything I can replace it with? #22 in the diagram:

I have a gauge parts box if you need me to look. off of a 750K, 350F model.

I remember a metal collar inside a rubber grommet. Is that what you are talking about?

Yes - that's what it is. I think it was only on the F models that had these kind of headlight mounts but evidently they used them for mounting fenders as well on several models. Let me know if you've got one - otherwise I can order one from my Honda dealer this afternoon. Thanks!

So you have the grommets but need two (2) collars correct? Number 22.

Correct. The threaded part of the tach/speedo mount that goes through them is 6mm dia.

Well, do you need these? They measure 6 mm.
