Topic: master cylinder cap reassembly question

Dumb question... I didn't pay attention when I took it out... 

Which way does the diaphragm plate go back into the cap (left or right picture)?  I looked at a parts diagram, but it wasn't very clear.

Hi Nomad,
No dumb questions...it's only dumb not to ask..and get it all foo.
Assemble that white plastic bit as in the LEFT pic...the lip of that inserts into the top of the soft black rubber membrane cap that goes into your "inkwell".
