Howdy!  :)

Yes, do keep reading.
Pretty much all the info you need to make an informed purchase is here.  If you can find it!  ;)

Don't be afraid to ask any questions about any bike you might be thinking of buying.
It there's one thing we love almost as much as CB's it's expressing our opinion! ;D

Hank you for the warmth welcome. I'm actually looking at 2 bikes that are fairly local. I'm sure I will put lots of love for either one, but lack financial on both.

Does it even make sense to even consider these?  I can post some pics if allowed.

1st bike -  $4400, 1971 cb750 appeared to be in good shape but some parts on the bike are from different model years.

2nd bike -$900,  1972 cb750 and will need total restoration I think. Motor stuck, missing rear drums, not original pipes probably rusted also, tank is faded with some visible rust...just to name a few

Am I even asking in the right thread/forum?  If not, please redirect. I'm also new to forum/blogging experience altogether.

Help/comments/suggestions...anything appreciated

Thank you

keep looking there are bikes out there for tat kind of money that are more complete and if you are new to them  definately try to find one that runs even if it is crappy at first and ask the other guys about a 750 with other bikes parts as far as if that really hurts the value but I would not pay more than 2500 for a bike that runs but is hodge podged my buddy just bought a 78 f for 1500 that runs quite well it will just need some tlc and will be great
some of the f models command a lower price as they were considered ugly however as time goes on they are rising in popularity as the other models become scarce
when you own a motorcycle the wife does not have to find you handy she just has to find you

Ok, so bike no.1 is out.
Perhaps I can try to bargain on bike no.2 and try to sell as parts? Take my time and also learn from it?
