Dual braKe question
«

Does anyone have tricks for removing the sleeve in the caliper at the pipe joint? I need to reverse the location for the right side caliper location and have been unable to do. I tried heat and penetrating oil but it is still stuck.

Hi mate
I removed mine with a short bit of welding rod from inside the housing tapping it out through the bleed hole.

I have used a sheet metal screw jammed into the seat, and pried out with needle-nose pliers. Others have used a finishing nail, inserted from inside the caliper bore, so the head catches on the bottom of the seat.
