More distraction. The guy who does my paint got a cb175 so i have been doing a little work to get that one going for him. Then i picked this up yesterday. I dont need another project but when i see a killer deal i dont care how many bikes I have there is money to be made.

No, not going to part it out. Either get it running and sell or get it running and swap my green tank onto it and sell the other with the red tank. Who knows, I have a problem, If a 550 comes up local I just buy it cause its there.

Well, i took out 1 needle today to confirm what clip they are in. Looks like the stock location. The bike has a small loss of power when i roll the throttle on after coasting or letting off the gas. I thought maybe it was running a little rich. THats my theory and was hoping somebody had messed with the needles. But they are where they should be so im going to leave them alone for now.

ANy suggestions? Im tired of getting less then 30 mpg.

About reply #103.  Sounds like we have the same bug in the northeast, I got bit a little over 2 years ago, never saw it coming, suffering from wallet shrinkage and garage swelling. We don't know if there is a cure.
I found the only relief is to pick up another one and post it in the morning.

Well the bike is sold! Kind of feel bad. Sold it to a nice guy but from what he told me i think the bike might end up flat black with clubmans.
