TT Isle of Man 2012
« on: February 08, 2012, 07:54:56 AM »
So this year i will be on vacation with my family and as luck would have it will be ending on june 1st in europe so I was thinking why not hop over to the Isle of Man and watch the TT. Im new to motorcycles but so far love everything about them and cant stop learning. I was looking at the website for the tickets and i was wondering if someone could help explain how they work. Ive never been to any sort of race, either motorcycle or car so i was curious as to whether i need a ticket to just stand on the side of the road to watch or if the tickets let me get into certain areas otherwise unaccessible. any help would be great. Thanks

This just started the other day  ;): http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=102013.0

As far as I know, it's free to watch from the road. You only need tickets if you want to watch from the grandstands. According to the site schedule, the races won't begin until the 2nd of June. The week prior is when they'll be practicing and qualifying.

There's only a few ways to get to the island. You can ferry over, fly by charter, or swim  ;D. Have a look at the official website. It has everything you need to know.
