Loaner engine cases in the SF Bay Area?
« on: February 03, 2012, 06:57:06 PM »
I am in need of a set of empty cases to use as a jig to place engine mount holes for some frame modification I'm doing. I am curious if any members in the San Francisco bay region would happen to have such a set kicking around that they wouldn't mind allowing to be borrowed for a few weeks?

The condition is completely irrelevant, they can have gaping holes from broken rods, for all I care, so long as all of the motor mount holes are intact and the cases hold together in one piece.

If you are keeping your cases to build an engine in, I can bead blast them for you in trade, if so desired.

Thanks in advance,

Eric

CB750. Sorry, I can't believe I managed to forget that. My bike is a K7, but it is my understanding that the case dimensions, and motor mount locations are the same for all years, so any cases would work.
