$450.

If I could get a few grand for it id be dumb not to sell. Not until I ride for a bit :)

Yes, if you're not interested in keeping it.  Well done!
Down here that would be at least a 1K bike.

In Boston, MA you would be lucky to get more than $1000 for it. More like less than $800. Badly repainted tank, bad seat, aftermarket exhaust...mileage is ok but thats about it. If it rides then use it. But that is not a 2K bike and I dont care which part of the country you are in ;)

I need to move to Boston!

Yeah we have NH, VT, RI and ME as well as MA to get cheap 750s from. Mostly they are under $1000 as they are in not great condition.

Well its all area dependent so you might get lucky ;) My first CB750 was a K2 (now and 810) and it was $350 back in `99 (bought in ME) and since then its cost me 1000`s of $$ ;)...but over 12 yrs its paid for itself over and over again. Good luck!

I can't seem to find any 1970's CB 750 in rideble condition here in Quebec or Ontario for less than 2000$.

Most sell for around 3000 to 4000$ and that's NOT show room condition!

like steve said depending on how clean the chrome is and the bike overall it may fetch anywhere from 2500 to 4000 depending on how well it runs and how complete it is

Picked up my K3 for $700 and my K4 for $800 here in WI. Both very nice bikes and needed only the basics. You paid $450 for yours you did very well. What is the month and year on that steering stem neck which will looks like the one in the pic. I am pointing to the where you can find the month and year of the build.

Sdsbassist- You got a great deal. If your'e looking to flip expect little profit for your area. Ebay and may be able to get more. As stated before, IMO I would keep and ride. Or you can take some steel wool 000 to the chrome and then flip. I do know here in the midwest the bikes don't last on CL long.

I sell them, fully rebuilt, for between $3500 and $6000.

Realize that when they have touched the hands of Mark what you have is a bike properly rebuilt, not some flipper schlub putting on a bad paint job, podz and some Macs asking $3K or $4K. Mark's rebuilds are worth the money he asks and I am pretty sure you do not have something approaching that value based on seeing your pic.

If you paid $450, it is fairly low mileage and it runs you got a good deal.
If you wanna flip it you have to do some work to get it to Mark's type of asking money- a lot of work.

I've found bikes to be much cheaper here in Manitoba. The fact we have long winters, and sky high insurance rates makes for much lower purchase prices.

Remember that those bikes are about 33 years old!!

I bought a tank on the internet for a 1978 CB750 and it did not have any dents in it. NONE That means for 33 years all of the owners took good care of it,it did not get banged up in the garage by falling debris, children hitting it with golf clubs, and no one opened a car door into it. Now I am going to a word that is way overused...amazing if you ask me.

I have been watching the Cb750's on ebay and Holy Sh*t the prices are crazy.I am tempted just to list it and see what it goes up to.There are comparable ones that are going over the 4 grand mark,!!!!????Is it me or are they going to keep going up?My wife says I will regret it and if I do that she doesnt want to hear one word.Even runners that dont have the original exhaust are going over 2 grand.Nuts I say.
its better to regret something you have done, than something you havent.Except playing with explosives.

I would pay a premium for a bike that has been cared for. I think if you look close enough on a bike for sale, you will notice things that tell you what kind of care or lack of, has been done to the bike. If your happy with the price you payed, list it and try to flip it. I have done it a few times and have been successful, and I bet you will be too.

I'm in Vancouver B.C. and around here in that condition you could get a grand for that if it ran decent and had a clean title, if you put some time into it and cleaned it up etc maybe $2000-2500.

I paid $1500 for my 77 750k which was not totally original, but ran quite well. I had to get caught up on all the maintenance the PO didn't do but in true Honda fashion it never left me stranded. I know I could get $2000-3000 for it now locally with all the things I've done to it, but that would be plain stupid of me. If I were you I'd keep it for a bit and ride it, you'll probably find you don't want to part with it in the end.
