1977 CB750f carb boots
« on: February 09, 2012, 12:08:33 PM »
Hey, I just wanted to post up and see if anyone had a set of carb intake boots for the 1977 cb750f. I was removing my carbs in the cold yesterday and they split bad and now i am stuck with progress until I get another set! If anybody has a set or knows where I can get some it would be greatly appreciated!!

Unless someone knows something I don't your best bet is E-bay. I know Honda doesn't make them anymore and I don't believe any aftermarket companies do either. If anyone has newer info please feel free to correct me.....and let me know where I can get a new set.  ;) ;) ;)

Ya a called a honda dealer today and they discontinued the boots! they only make the 2nd one to the left now.....don't ask me why just that one. I desperately need a pair or my project will be a dud and my bike is useless :( :(

The ones for the older carbs are still made, if you have no objection to putting early model carbs on your bike then that is an option.

If this is anything like the issue with the '78 750k models, the boots that are still being sold through Honda can be used for all four cylinders.  Not sure if the F is the same, but I used the old flip trick with the ones still available and it worked perfectly.  Good luck

the '77 & '78 F boots are different and not made anymore, as far as I know there is no flip trik possible with these.
