1976 CB750F exhaust question
«

My bike came with a Mac 4-1 with an unbaffled megaphone. It's much quieter without the megaphone and doesn't scrape as often. Is it bad for anything if I run headers only?

I don't know if it is necessarily 'bad' for anything.............but I can't think of anything it good for.

I've run mine with it on and off. Only problem I saw was sooting up of all the parts behind the collector. The aluminum brace thingy is a #$%* to clean and spokes aren't fun either. Sounded damn fine though. Mini stock car on steroid kinda sound especially if your's is kitted. A big cam will sound nicely lumpy without the muffler

I'm thinking new baffles in the megaphone might be my best option for a temporary solution. Thanks everybody.
