gas tank lock cylinder gone from CB 550F tank
« on: February 13, 2012, 05:27:24 AM »
The lock cylinder from my CB550 gas tank cover arm worked just once when I put the key in,and then it came completely out. It is just a cheap piece of white plastic.  Not even sure if it is OEM
Any suggestions on how to proceed and parts sourcing would be appreciated.

Is this the sort with a "Flap" over the tank cap? If so it sounds like the inner lock part has come out of the plastic surround if so you need Honda part number 37220-390-003 which is held in by a clip 37221-390-000
