Topic: Frame fun

I have a 74 CB and was thinking about cropping the back half of the frame and gonna build it to a spec i like. I know a little bit about welding but before i cut was gonna see what you guys recommend for tubing to build it. IE size and thickness. I am on a tight budget.

Welcome.  Member 754 says that:        CB 750 is 1 inch OD    .060 wall..

There is a search system here that works pretty good sometimes.  Lots of tips and tons of help.  There are several people that have done just what you are wanting to do and are willing to help.  Manuals as well.  Put down the motor size and that will help.

By the way I would use tubing thicker than.060 (1/16) because it can get backed into a wall etc., and you do not want the tubing to get dented.
