CB 650 firing order?
« on: February 14, 2012, 01:56:41 PM »
Hey all,

I have an '80 CB650c with a slew of issues. Aside from the leaking carbs (from the overflows, mostly #4) loss of brake pressure, and electrical charging issue, I've recently noticed cylinders 3 & 4 are running waaaayyy hotter than 1&2. I have hardly any pressure from the tail pipe on 1&2 and the head stays cool to the touch. Additionally, the pipe from 4 is blueing faster than the other 3...... any suggestions? I don't think fuel is the problem but I'm not certain and I just changed the plugs. The old ones came out black from 1&2 and charred gray on 3&4. Does anyone know the firing order on this bike?

Thanks

do yourself a favour and give the motor a tune up.
set valves and timing then see what you have.
