 Dual discs, Ya'll! It took a little fiddling, a little grinding and  R&R'ing the right hand caliper a few times, but we got it. I dare say that the RH caliper is more parallel/in line than the stock LH caliper!
 Hope to bleed brakes soon and get the headlight mounted and sort out a little wiring.

Its hard to see from those pics.  Do have the RH fender mount BETWEEN the fork and the caliper or on the outside of the caliper mount?

 The caliper mount is between the fork and the fender, just like on the LH side. We tried it a couple of different ways after reading a few DDC threads here. This is what worked for us.
 
 We had to grind down the upper pivot pad on the caliper holder. From this:

 To this:


 And we had to grind/cut off the lower mounting boss on the fork, right where the screwdriver is pointing.


 Doing it like this, we didn't need any spacers or shims anywhere. This also allowed plenty of room for the hard lined to pass between the fork and the fender. Fender is centered and the caliper arm is actually more parallel to the disc on this side than the stock mounting.

 Just thought I should mention, the speedo cable runs pretty close to the second disc. A zip tie should keep it out of harms way.

 I got the GL1000 master cylinder mounted but, unfortunately, I think it needs a rebuild. I was never able to get it to move fluid on the bench as well as I would have liked and it wouldn't even pump down the reservoir when mounted on the bike. GRRRR!  >:(

 I ended up using the stock m/c and got the brakes bled, but I'm not crazy about the lever feel. I may end up changing it out for something else whenever I figures out what to run. I know I want a mirror mount.
 Anyone want a good deal on a GL1000 master cylinder?

 I WISH I had those paint skills. My good friend Rob at Lakeside Collision handled the paint for me.
 The GL1000 m/c will be up for sale as soon as I get my brakes sorted. Talked to Mike Morris the other day about properly sizing the m/c. Got some good info that I'll pass along later on.

 Rear tire mounted and balanced, new EBC brake shoes and scuffes up the friction surface of the drum. I still need to clean up the wheel a little bit and adjust the brake (after the engine is in and chain is adjusted).
 This pic also shows the Progressive shocks.

 Got the new master cylinder installed. After talking with Mike "Mercury" Morse of 650Central/Vintage Brake fame, he suggested a 13 or 14mm master cylinder.
 


 Oh yeah....notice anything missing in that pic? Turns out the kill switch was disconnected for a reason. The plastic on the back of the on/off/on knob has been damaged and it won't hold the little metal piece in place anymore. Tried to repair it, but it looks like I'll be replacing the RH controls instead.

 I STILL have a spongy lever, though.  >:(  I think it may be the bleeder screws. They're in HORRIBLE shape and seem to get wet as the bike sits. I have a feeling that they're letting a little air bleed by. I've bled nearly two whole bottles of fluid through the system and I still get some VERY tiny, foamy looking bubbles from time to time, as well and a soft lever.



 Called my Honda dealer and ordered two new, genuine Honda bleeders. $10 bucks a pop! Ouch!

 My Dad had this flyscreen laying around. He recently installed a viper style fairing on his bike. Whatta ya think? I think it'll look pretty cool and I can even run the stock reflectors on the headlight ears.

 Got the new Honda bleeders in and I'm still havinga helluva time getting the brakes bled. My local shop has a vacuum bleeder. Maybe I'll take it up there after it's running and see if they can get the air out.

 I also bolted on these mirrors. The glass is flat or "true vision" and not convex, which is a little different to me. I think I like the look of these better.

 Oh, yeah.....the wiring is all sorted and the faulty kill switch has been replaced, too. Fabbed up some mounts for the replacement coils. About all that's left is to clean up the frame and touch up a couple of paint spots. This frame is in very nice shape and I don't think I'll repaint the whole thing as I normally would.

 I degreased the engine this morning. Next up, prep it for paint and pull the head and cylinders. I already have a ported and polished head ready to go. I'll send the cylinders out for overboring.
