Topic: My new CB350F: Isn't she a beaut?

If I cannot find enough parts to fully restore this cutie (my first, second, and third choice) then it will become a cafe' of a class like this forum has only seen twice, capable of also hopping onto the track, if needed. (After all, I live at the foot of the Rockies...). 

Oh no.  A thousand time no!  If I knew you were that hard up for a 350, I might have sold you one of mine   I have some stuff laying around in the garage, I'll look this afternoon.

Don't fret about the age of the thread.  He still needs parts.  I think he's looking for the upper triple, seat cover, right hand controls and rear marker lights.  Prolly other stuff too but I'm pretty sure he was on the hunt recently for that stuff. 

I kinda think about it like this: I'm very happy to help out members (especially regulars) of the forum (and have been helped a ton by people here).  HondaMan is at the top of my list for "deserving of help".    I can't count the number of times I've been pulled out of the fire by his book, posts, products, services, PMs, etc.

Thanks, all! It's GREAT to have good friends to help. 
I have it on good authority that a top triple is coming real soon. I'll be making CNC versions of them, once I get the good one on the bike (And take my broken one off for CMM-ing). There might also be usable turn signals in the batch, and some good instruments. Got my fingers crossed!

I'll get some more pix of it once I get the patio cover up so I can take it out of hiding (away from the construction, wrought iron ceiling thingies...).

My CMM measuring guy left the place where I work, and he's not interested anymore. I'm looking for another who can CMM it into a Prototrak file, or SolidWorks, so I can detail it into a buildable piece. It's not dead: just sleeping. I have 5 engines to rebuild here, first!

HondaMan, take this in a different prespective. I had a tenant who recently decided he was going to give me a 3 day notice on vacating the property. Guy moves out, never met up with me to square away remaning rent balance, plus addititional fees for 1 yr lease contract. LOng story short , he would avoid me at all cost.  Today we finally have our hearing. HE DOES NOT show up. Judge gives him 10 minutes and nothing. I win the case,,,,,,, FOOL now owes my 1728!

I'll get there with it: right now, I have the LED Timing Light as top priority, the 5 engines next, 3 whole bikes after that, and I am designing a new motorcycle engine stand-crane device (sort of like an automotive engine stand, but much better) that will be marketed in the near future. I'm REALLY excited about this stand: it lifts and lowers an engine from the floor to the rotating mount, is sized for bike engines up to 550 lbs (Gold Wings notwithstanding), and we're trying to get it priced for the hobbyist, with a version for bike shops to use. It stores flat against a wall when not in use.

Everything that came with it is on it: no tank, seat, or centerstand.
First things I have to find: a top triple tree and a centerstand.
Then I need the kickstart lever.
Anyone have these that might wish to part with them?
It came with a seat that appears to be for the 400F (hinge spacing too wide), so if someone might have a trade for a 350F seat...

Oh, boy, oh, boy... 

Honda only made that bike for one year. Good luck finding the parts.

Correction, I believe that Honda sold the CB350F for three years - 1972-1974.  The first two years were identical, and the last year in 1974 there were a few minor changes, the most notable being only one colour available - the Glory Blue Black Metallic, which is only found on this one model and year I believe.  The following three years the model was updated to a 400cc version - the CB400F, which shares a few similar parts. 

BTW Hondaman can probably find or make any parts he needs.

You're 100% right on the 3 years: it is 3 years they made it, and there are actually 3 distinct models inside. :O
There are 3 different swingarm pivot bearing setups, and minor other differences like that across the bike. From the outside, besides color, you can't tell until you take them apart.

...and yeah: if I can't find what I need, I'll make it.   Isn't that what vintage riding is all about?
