It's really an amazing machine, for when it was built.  I believe there's a documentary about it floating around somewhere.  John Britten was sure an interesting character...

Edit: Just saw you're in NZ...that's where he lived/built that bike.

 Had  a guy from NZ with a shop about a block from mine.. wet to school with Britten.. said he fixed up an old Indian, and I think a truck while still in school.. Often wondered how the story would have played out, if he had lived longer...

If he did all of that using wire and fiberglass, imagine what he could have come up with using todays CAD 3D prototyping? He was a glass artist right?
