The decals I ordered from Reproductiondecals arrived today. Phew, at least that's out of the way. I feel like I managed to squeeze this in under the wire. I would have been ticked if, when ready to paint, I had to hold up for want of the decals.

"telling us not to use the wing logo on the website."

BMW did that to the Vintage Club.  Unbelievable.  What unmitigated crap.  Reminds me of when Harley wanted to copywrite the sound of a big twin.

You can now get re-pop parts for just about everything for an Indian. The real ones, I mean.  Maybe someone will do that kind of thing for the SOHC4s someday.  They're not worth as much (yet ::)), but there are more of them around. Perhaps volume would compensate for the penurious nature of many of the current owners...  ;)
Dude- your 8 layers are showing!

I just went to Reproductiondecals and found nothing listed for Honda at all. Am I missing something?

As I understand it, they had to remove references and ordering from their web site. However, scroll down and you will find an earlier reply of mine http://www.sohc4.us/forums/index.php?topic=10247.msg99274#msg99274 that includes an eMail response from them after I inquired. In that is a phone number and name. Call them and order over the phone. Apparently they still have an inventory of decals which they plan to continue to sell until it is exhausted a I guess.

I called Ellen at Reproductiondecals.com.  Unfortunately, they don't have (apparently, never did) decals for the F2/F3 750's.  So I'm still looking.  If anyone finds a source for these, please post it.
Currently '77 CB750F2
Formerly '73 CL-350 Twin, '81 GS-650E, '83 VF-750C Magna (till some sum#$%* stole it)

I had inquired about F0 decals prior to all this. They had never listed these. She told me that someone was sending their tank in and they would duplicate it. Don't know if this would still be the case or not. May be worth another phone call if you have good decals. In my case they would only need the colors since they already had done the F1 which is the same pattern..

Just read 6packrunners post in the Candy Gold Formulation thread. I took a look at all the sites I have bookmarked and every single one has removed their Honda decals. OBB still has tank/side cover badges listed, but that means nothing.

Anyway, just thought this deserved it's own thread 'cause to me this is a big deal. There are quite a few parts that Honda no longer sells and I wonder if tank stripes and such are available.

Since it's American Honda that is sending all the "cease and desist" orders I wonder if any of you UK or Aussie riders have sources for decal sets?

If anyone has a group of these and willing to scan them I can reproduce them. What I need is a high res scan and exact dimensions top to bottom and width as well as letter spacing just to make sure we get it right the first time. Maybe it is time I start buying obsolete decals and start making repro's of them. Afterall they will not last forever.

Who cares... I hate greedy coporate people

Something special for the corporate greed... ;D

Or something more interactive for them. Besides if they are not going to make them anymore then I believe there is some level of release after they have been out of production for awhile.

For all decals.
Just Email MotoGraphix in Sydney Australia .

decals@motographix.com.au

They actually manufacture a set for the K5 SOHC Black with the gold insert.
