Speedo's and tach's
« on: February 24, 2012, 01:23:51 PM »
Does anyone know will a 750 speedo or tach function correctly on a 350? In other words are they all geared the same from the front wheel or from the cam?

Thanks for the response. In studying it, I then have to ask, especially since I see the CB 650 in there. Is the CB 750 a pre '78 or a '79 and newer, which puts it in the same age category as the CB 650? Just couldn't help but wonder since they all look about the same and were made at the same time that say a CB 500 wouldn't be the same as a CB 750 and the same as the CB 550 and CB 750.  But the CB 650 was later. See what I mean?  Yes, I do know that the CB 500, CB 400 and CB 350 were the same smaller size and I do remember that the CB 550 were the larger gauges like the CB 750.

That list only includes the SOHC's.
I imagine you can find info about the DOHC gauges over here: http://www.cb750c.com/
