Just needed a new battery, air filter and oil change.  Runs great, ABS, heated grips, hard bags, cruise.......etc...     This will be the commuter and to ride with the wife.  Dont worry ,  the vintage SOHC's are still my fav!!  Was a decent deal at 3500.00  I think.

It is quite the task to change the battery,  its stuck under the tank. Pull left side fairing off,  take part of the snorkle off,  pull the air filter out, detach the neg lead, slide the batt up and out the side, hold in one hand and disconnect the pos lead.

I love those.  I keep thinking that I should sell the Tiger and get an R1200RT for my sport touring rig.

the riding style is a little better than the ST1100 in my opinion.  The ST your leaning forward slightly, the r1100rt your straight up and arms relaxed.   
Should have the battery delivered today!!
