CB 750 K5 side panel badges
« on: February 18, 2012, 05:10:52 PM »
I'm trying to find a a pair of side panel badges for my 750 K5 (1975) I have been in contact with badgereplicas.com from Australia and they indicate that the badge is actually in two pieces, the '750 Four' part and a separate triangular Honda flying wing badge underneath. I had thought they were a one piece unit. Can anyone confirm that they are actually two piece?
Unfortunately my bike was missing both badges and I have nothing to compare to. :-\
Cheers.

They are separate.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

The badges are still available new from Honda.  The "jewels" are also available but only in the earlier red color.

You can get the correct orange jewels from http://www.yamiya750.com/index.php?main_page=index&language=en

but they are pricy.

You can get the badges at LPM but note they are all black and not painted.  Not easy to paint either.  Depends on what you want to do.
