Honda Twin question...
« on: February 21, 2012, 08:01:04 PM »
I am going to look at a 69 cb350 on Friday.   it has no title, might not have carbs, the previous owner died, and I get a box of parts.

I was told that he started the project and then got ill.  the motor supposedly has been rebuilt and has not been started since the rebuild.   All new bolts and a folder of "paperwork" is included in the deal.   No rust or pitting on the bike.   Tank is in perfect condition inside and out.   Side panels are like new as well.   Pipes are in perfect condition.

He is trying to find the carbs but there are boxes "everywhere".....

Getting a title here in WA isn't too much of a concern for me on this one.

How much would you pay for this project bike?

Here are some pics.

Hi Nate,

I just picked up a CB360 1974 which is very similar to the cb350 for $200 including extra tank, coils, condensors, and an extra set of carbs.  Any chance you can help me get  a title for a CB750?  I have 1976 CB750 that I would like to get on the road.

From what I understand, a 69 CB350 is worth more than a 360.  Am I wrong?

In order for it to get a title, it has to be inspected and the VIN has to be verified and ran against the stolen bike database and if there are no claims for 3 years, then you get a title.....

I'm into CB350's...I'm fully restoring a 72' CB350K4 and I have parts;if it's true what the PO has done to it and you can visually verify it...(the paint looks good,& side covers have an odd "vent"? on them:not stock...if they were Original paint It'd be worth more)..and you can get ALL the parts including the O.E. mufflers/pipes carbs, etc. to make up a complete bike..and All the parts were in good shape...and it "only" needs reassembly..... maybe as high as $600...but w/o a title...probably as high as $400.I could imagine it was a "Labor of Love" for the PO...so I would think they're is some...Special :) value that is associated with the relatives to selling it...possibly.
75' CB400F/'bunch o' parts' & 81' CB125S modded to a 'CB200S'
I love the small ones too !
Do your BEST...nobody can take that away from you.
