Topic: APE Extra Plate Clutch Kits 750k4 any thoughts?

I just purchased this clutch kit from our site sponsor. Anyone have any feedback on these kits. I use the search function but it only had one review.  States this in the description...

I've riddent my K6 for 34 years now, and it's seen it's share of abuse. The stock clutch has always held up fine. I can't see what that extra plate is really going to gain you unless you have somekind of 900cc kit in it with crazy HP. You may just end up creating a heavier clutch pull and or having more clutch drag, making neutral harder to find.

I used Jays extra plate clutch kit in both my 836 engine and now my 915 and it works great.  It hooks up great, hasn't slipped yet and no drag.

We sell a lot of those kits - but by their very nature, they are very 'grabby'.  Stock plates give a smoother release.  I would only recommend the extra disk clutchs on bikes that need them - performance bikes where clutches are getting slipped or dumped coming off the line.  The heavier springs in the kits can make your wrist ache if you are riding in traffic.

Ya think, Tweakin is actually using them and says they work well. I think Jay needs to pop in and comment....
