Is she a 1970 w/ a dual-range 8 speed trans. ? I had a 1971 when I was 14(it belonged to my Dad and I used to "hot wire"it and go for rides :)) and it was great "trying" trying to beat the Neighbor boy down the street; he had a CB100 & we'd both be flat out in top gear and he would always kind of walk away from me at about maybe 4 mph faster;I was always able to beat him when he had his CT70H  8). I kept thinking I could possibly beat him next time :)........yeah sure  :P  Nice Little bike...what are you're plans for her ?

She's a 69, she needs a few odds and ends, but we'll probably give her a functional restoration, and a full restoration a little further down the road.

It's probably going to see the streets of ABQ more than offroad. Probably use it mostly to pick up college girls at the local coffee shops ;-)

I've ridden on the back of the CT90 that I had use of... :P ,and it's no picnic I'll tell you that;you'd be better to have a girl ride on the seat with you ::)..unless you set it up with a buddy seat(it would have been nice to have had that when I was on the back of the CT90)..I imagine you could make it OK on level ground in High Range. You were joking about picking up college girls on "that" little bike..,right ? :o

On a serious note... where is the best place for parts for these little beasties? I'll need new cables , and I'm missing the battery cover for starters....

Thanks!

Thanks Stev-o, I'll need to get my 76F out of mothballs and see what needs doing....

I'd love to find a dealer that has all the parts so i can just buy all at once, but the battery cover I may get off ebay!

Ah, some day I'll get to my CT90.  If not already mentioned somewhere, I got a lot of stuff from www.DRATV.com aka Beatrice Cycles...

Had a red 69 model bought new in 1970.  Kept it for years.  Recently picked up a 79 model with 1300 miles.  Neat little bikes.  Parts are easy to find and much cheaper than 750 parts.
