Hello all, wanted to interduce myself. I've been lurking on this forum for a few months now. My main ride is a goldwing trike that I been riding for last 12 years. I started riding almost 60 years ago. A couple of months ago, a GOOD friend gave me a 78 cb550k that he had restored. I had tried to buy or trade him out of it and he decided to give it to me. He doesn't ride and said that after he finished the build he lost interest in it. I rode it about 5 miles home, ran good with a flat spot when rolling it on at about 45. A few days later it fails to start, only seems to be firing at times on number one cylinder. He said the kill switch will blow the 15 amp fuse, haven't had that happen yet. Looks like I've got some digging to do with a meter. Wish me luck. Wait, I've already had the luck, I got a free bike to piddle with.
