Well its finished!

Had a little trouble with crap in the fuel, but a quick tank flush and filter flush seemed to do the trick.
Man is this a fun bike!

Wow, you got that all done pretty fast.  I bet you'd be able to flip it and have a nice profit.

Wow, Its kinda fun to read back through this build.

Just kind of a general update. This bike ran great all last year. Multiple trip all over Wisconsin, and did a weekend ride completely around Lake Michigan (almost exactly 1000 miles) and was able to keep up just fine with a modern CBR600RR and a kawi Ninja.
This bike is just so much fun and sounds great! I cant wait to get it out of the garage this year.

I do have a couple things to fix, as it did sustain a bit of damage from a deer last fall. I was trailer both this bike and my 78 K back to Madison from a bike show down in Illinois when deer ran out from the median of the interstate and slammed in to the side of my truck (which was only 3 days old at the time). part of the deer or part of my driver side mirror flew back between the 2 bikes on the trailer and destroyed the mirrors and ripped one of the grips on the F. Pretty minor considering the $2000 in damage to my truck.

Just thought I'd play Dr. Frankenstein (or forum member Lucky) and resurrect an old thread.

Here's a picture of the truck, trailer and bikes pre-deer collision.
