750 k7 carbs same as the f2 ?
« on: March 05, 2012, 07:43:56 AM »
Hi all, just wondering if the 1977 750 Honda k7 carbs are the same as the 750 f2 carbs as I am trying to chase up a complete carb kit for my k7, can get my hands onto a complete carby kit for a f2 but not sure if I can use then on my k7, any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Steve750four.

Steve I'm not sure what year the F2 is Would it have the pd 42a or pd42b carbs I have both sets here at the shop and may be able to help I just don't know the F model years. Here is something that might help.

Just a guess it may be just a difference in jets

The PD bodies are all the same. The only difference is the factory settings / jetting.

Looking at the microfiche, Needle jet assemblies and main jets are different.
