I noticed you took one cover off to paint it silver, did you remove the other side to paint or did you leave it on the bike to paint. I have a 75 CB400f and want to repaint the engine but don't want to rip it apart yet. The bike still runs to god. Thanks in advance for the info.

i hope that the rear will turn as good as the front one...

i'm doing everything at work in the minumum spare time i have ;D

i'm waiting for new spokes and then i'll try to lace the hubs to great alu rims i already have

the rear hub and drum cover is ready for clear coating, while the spokes are being zinc plated right now

i've been to the painter and he told me that, in his opinion, the clar will dull the finish a lot, and the clear can yellowing with the time...

so'll let them alone for now, i'll just apply a thick coat of wax

i hope they'll remain shiny ::)
