Don't remember hearing were the Elsinore green came from.
I also bought a brand new CR 125m in '74. I remember $969. They must have known I would have paid anything that day. To me it was $85 a month for 3 years.

I started buying NOS Elsinore parts on EBay about 10 years ago. I am very close to having a new old stock '74 125.

My first dirt bike experience was on an old CR125 red devil, did you guys get that model in the States.?

The Handle bars are called "M" bars. They are flat when laid on a table. I really like them. Pan to use them on my next build.

I have always thought the Honda Elsinore's were the moto cross innovators and the other brands were the followers. Now-days, it may be different.

I just returned from the Mid-Ohio Vintage Motorcycle Days.

Entered my SOHC in the Cafe Racer Magazine bike show, got first place in: Best of Japanese class.

Thanks to everyone on this forum for ideas, comments and support.

Hello,
I was trying to race my 1974 Elsinore in MX at Mid-Ohio right at the same time the Cafe Racer tent was holding it's competition. I rushed over to the tent covered with mud for the award, so I didn't get any pictures.

I am very happy with the single carb. Folks continue to tell me how it won't work. I decided to just nod my head and say "I know"

I have not done any Dyno testing.  I did buy an air/fuel ratio gauge and plan to weld 4 bungs into the 4 headers. I will publish the results here.
