Finished a month ago: no fed refund (owe $21), state refund went towards $4500 owed to Calif.  The fed return was rejected (electronic filing) due to my wifes ex claiming their son when it was her turn to claim him.  Spoke with IRS and was told that when they receive our return by mail an investigation with be triggered.  I have also received copies of my wifes divorce court documents so that I have supporting info.  Ain't life fun?

finished a while ago, got my half of the refund yesterday and now to buy a new Mac.  Apple is forcing me to upgrade to keep up.  Can't complain to much, my current iMac is a 2005 model.  But she still runs just fine.  Looking at a Mac Mini with an i7 processor.  There goes a grand.

I spent the first quarter of this year trying to pay off what I owed from last year, then scraped by (no beer, no buying lunch....etc) saving to pay off what I owed from the first quarter. WTF! I have to give the gubment 30% of what I earn. How the heck am I supposed to make it rich? Buy myself that 1998 BMW Z coupe hatchback M series.

Yes, taxes are done...I hope I get somthing back next year.
