Wow, that looks good. I was not aware they had one in Japan. I agree on bringing it to the states.

Nah, most Americans wouldn't take to it, it doesn't have apehangers and a sissy bar? ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

yea, that would have a hard time finding its market share in america, but you would think with Hondas vast net work of dealer ships they would make it available through special order, at least to the states that don't have crazy emission standards.

I would buy one about 10 years after it got here.

I agree with Raef, the US market has really turned to cruisers. I went in a HONDA dearlship yesterday and they had a handful of Road rockets and 99% cruisers and rolling recliners. I'm going out on a limb by saying, most RICE ROCKETS will be purchased by the 20-40 youngsters and the over 40 want a comfortable ride because of all the stupid SHYTE they did when they were 20-40 and they have scars to show for it. Don't get me wrong, I still love a FAST bike but the highway is not the place to be doing 140mph on the back wheel . STUPID.
I think the CHOPPER market has almost died also. There are still some who will want the BOBBER/CHOPPER but they have gotten smart enough to know they can build a BIKE for 50%-75% less then going to a BIG name shop and buy one.

Actually the american market is starting to slowly more back to standards and nakeds. In yamaha, the fz1, 6, and 8 all have a more standard seating position. The Kawi versys, er-6n, z1000, and certain ninja models are also standard and some are naked. They are starting to creep back in.

I think most of you though are thinking the UJM from the 70s.

I like my women a little big. Natural. Now, they shave this and wax that. It's not right. I love natural women. Big women. This trend in women has to go. Bulomia, anorexia. That's just wrong. You know what will cure that? My special sticky buns. One lick of my sticky buns and your appetite will come right back. ~ RIP Mr. Borgnine  01/24/1917 - 07/08/2012  :'(

I think eldar has a good point too & I hope he's right on that, I love the look of that "Blackstyle", the problem is they need sales of the model & if a marketing guy thinks it won't sell, well.... Raef's comment that he would buy one in 10 years doesn't help them today, no offence intended Raef, just the way manufacturers think.

Here's another one I saw at a show recently, absolutely fell in love with it & would have bought if cash was available, sales guy said they sold very few (it was an '09 or '10 model) & now it's discontinued.

I was about a month away from buying a Sport Classic, but then my wife got pregnant.  We could have afforded it, but I figured it wasn't the most financially responsible thing to do at the time.  The way things worked out I'm glad I didn't, but I still want one, and may still get one at some point.  Hopefully before they achieve "classic" status. ;D
