This is one of my favourite pics of the cb750.  Anyone know if the background is Trafalgar square in London?

I think the tags up front are aesthetically pleasing.

Not the palace. It is the Square as Nelson's Column has lions at the base of it.

I've GOT to get a slide scanner. I've got a bunch of pics from the Laguna Seca super-bike race in '79. Rode up there on Hwy 1 from SLO.

I have one of these.
http://www.amazon.com/Epson-B11B193081-Epson-Perfection-V300-Photo-Color-Scanner-Black/dp/B001GBKTGM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1331148056&sr=8-1

Totally exceeded my expectations for scanning slides and negatives!
Thanks for the tip!

Just got the Epson scanner; works great! This pic is from 1979. Not sure exactly where, but I think it's somewhere in Colorado, maybe Montrose?
(BTW, I know it's a mirror image. ;))

Yeah, Mick, it's the same bike. You might say we've grown old together.  ;)
I bought it about 2 months before that pic was taken, and completely tore it apart and put it back together, barely in time for that ride.
Here's another from the same trip; I think this one was taken in Aspen.

Pretty high cylinder count in that photo!  Glad you like the scanner.  Are those shots from slides?

Me, on a trip thru Oregon in 1976, on my way back from Seattle. I rode Denver-Idaho Falls first day, to Seattle next, then around Tacoma and back to Seattle and along the Puget Sound next, then to Big Bear Lake the next day, which was this day. Then back to Denver the next. Still have this, my K2!

If by tags you mean number plate these were outlawed for safety reasons. Tho I'm using one on the bike in my avatar cos I'm a rebel.  8)

Why would those be outlawed?  How are they unsafe?
