Topic: (cb550f '76) carburettor o-ring

Can anybody tell me the size of the o-ring in the carburettor float valve?
My carbs are looking nice and clean but one of them is leaking. And i dont see the point in a full carb restauration when i just need a new o-ring, to stop the notorious leak.

is there a place I can buy theese ?

Nevermind, found it in the FAQs... The float seat o-ring is 1.5mm x 5mm

I thought the same thing, but all 4 of my carbs are overflowing like crazy after I replaced the float valve o-rings with some admittedly oversized o-rings I had on hand; and it seems unlikely that all 4 of my overflow tubes would develop cracks at the same time. I tested mine with water just to be sure, I think they're OK.

I bought a handful of 1.5 x 5mm fuel safe o-rings from www.theoringstore.com for .17 apiece. They don't require a minimum order which is nice, but they use flat rate shipping so the shipping costs on most orders is $5.
