Apparantley your LEDs are not presenting enough of a load to trip the flasher, this happened to me when I installed all LED on my flashers.
Put incandescents in the rear flashers because they will only suck wattage when you turn on the turn signal. The LEDs will be on the front where you can get some energy savings from the running lights.

Hey Dukie, that would not be the problem. the bike electronics are 100%, tip top. 12v everywhere, proper voltage, etc....

however...........

I FIXED IT, EVERYTHING WORKS ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

turns out, the flasher was the issue, 3rd one was the charm. The first two where apparently both faulty. Also, some of the flashers are labelled as "electronic" when they are actually electro-mechanical. The clear one below is WRONG, the black one is RIGHT. all about the 31, 49, and 49a!

31, 49 and 49a, those are the magic numbers. That is the flasher I used for a replacement on my VFR750F. The stock flasher was kinda pricey.
