Talk me out of it!
« on: February 24, 2012, 06:51:53 PM »
OK, I should just let this CL350 pass on to a friend. Its going to slip right through my hands unless I choose to keep it. Its got 2300 miles. Its blue. A one owner and includes title and original paperwork (sales receipt). Its all there and is only $350. Its parked in a clean garage where it has been sitting for years. The bike has a bit of corrosion and lots of dust but the inside of the tank looked alot better than I thought it would and it kicks over great. No dents, solid pipes, and a chip on the tank.
I don't have room for a 4th bike, but I could always loan one out or part with one.
Thats too hard.

I think I'm going to reluctantly let it go into a friends hands, but if for some strange reason he turns it down I'll be its owner and I'll flip it. I think it will be easy to get it going and then it will need a simple clean up. I've got a new Avon already for the rear, and some Yamaha tank cleaner. Should be a breeze. I'll try to get a pic if I pick it up.

I'm putting together a 72' CB350 and may be able to swap a few parts with you.

Looks like my friend John is not going to take the bike, but my friend Jeff may. He used to ride enduros in Florida and is anxious to get a bike. I'll likely be picking it up this week if I can squeeze it in my or a friends garage. I don't think I'll be swapping parts. This bike only needs cleaned up and a little TLC to get it running. It is still missing the righthand side cover in blue if you know of one.

I'm picking it up Thursday and storing it. I watched a CB350 sell on ebay for $2660. This bike has that potential with a bit of work.
