carburetor band
« on: November 10, 2013, 01:15:13 am »
Hi

What is the correct insulator / carburetor band for a 1969/1970 CB750 KO ?
I believe it was chrom (or silver zink)  but sometimes I see black ones.

Who has a picture of a genuine KO where it can be seen?

My K0 has silver colored. Do not think the carbs have ever been off the bike. Note that green dot sticker which is still on the carbs from the factory which I think is kind of rare. The engine has another round dot still attached that is blue.

Thanks.
Silver seems to be correct. Found some factory pictures.

My green dot is still there but faded a little bit.

Black / silver

Found those in my boxes.
They are called clamps.

BTW in my opinion those were the best carbs ever made for the CB750.
