These are some sweet looking motors.  I like seeing the different paint/polishing schemes.  Its helping me pick a color scheme for my motor.

Sure was. Distributor was from some kind of Fiat. Ran through a sleeve welded onto the valve cover and keyed directly into the camshaft. Worked perfectly but I got too paranoid about the bike falling over.

We did that same thing with the oil pumps (actually, a 289 V-8 Ford oil pump), driven by a 2:1 reduction gearbox for the mini-cars (3/4 midget racers) in the 1970s. It made for 12k RPM engines that tended to fill the top ends up with oil a little too much, so I think they probably choked off the flow somewhat after I left the area the next year.

Putting my hotrod 900 cc motor together , lots of pics here . Don't have a chassis for it and can't see it in a stock one so we will see . May shoe horn it into Mabel as the test bed .

Once I get a good picture I will post mine but for now I'm keeping this handy. I think the engine is the best looking part of any bike.

What size engine..? I see webers so i gather its not a stocker....

I dont know how big, i can see they are bigbore pistons with cutouts, has a Norris cam I think, webers are off umy bike but there is a set waiting to go on . Its a bike I picked up for a buddy a few years back, had a long springer on it.. K1 #93,***
