Going price for a Honda trail 90
« on: March 11, 2012, 11:59:28 AM »
I'm going to look at a couple trail 90 s today because the wife has been wanting one. Does anyone have a idea of what the price range is that these go for.

In good condition, depending on the year of course, the Trail 90 can command a couple thousand dollars. The ones I see are usually 700 to 900 for OK condition.  Check www.nada.com for values....Larry

The prices are all over the board on these bikes.  I have had as many as three at one time but right now I just have a 1970 model.  You should be able to find a decent one for $600-$1000 but expect to pay more if you need one that is in exceptional cosmetic condition.

Righto! And freakin crazy! These bikes are small, super plentiful, and were less than $1000 new! It's crazy what people around here are asking for them. I've seen them for $2000, of course they don't sell. Frankly one in good condition and titled should be worth $500 but some people's children spend way too much on these things. It's not like there is a shortage of them there are at least 10 for sale on any given day on our local CL. I see one cb550 or 750 in good shape about every 3 or 4 months.

I like the C70 passports with the fairing and I missed one in Renton for $500 with title. Others are on CL for $1400, now that's crazy!.

My Dad sold his low mileage-pristine 110 for $300 about 20 years ago.  I should have snapped it up.

I've owned quite a few. I sold a 76 with 700 miles for $1500 a couple years ago. I rode my 79 tonight and had a blast getting it up to 50 mph  8)   I also have a 73 that's been in the family since new that I'm restoring. It would've been an easy project if I hadn't been so hard on it as a kid.

I used to shut down the 110 at 55, never really topped it out, usually the speed limit was 30 or 35 where I was trying WOT.  Of course that was over 100 lbs ago.

I think the carcasses are mostly complete '71 and '70 or so , both yellow.

I joind a yahooo group that does the lifan swap- to 12 volt, footpeg kits etc. Could have a new motor for either of them and 12v for under $500 and some time.

I paid $150 for mine.   No title, missing parts, locked up, etc.  But I did get an extra bottom end for it and it was an early one (later K0 with subtrans).  Check out www.Dratv.com  Lots of stuff there.  Haven't really got into it yet but I have the parts to get it (mostly?) running.
