Jet question 550
« on: March 10, 2012, 10:32:01 PM »
I got some new 120 and put one in... Seems a bit not as tight as the old ones... Not sure if this is a stupid question but will it stay tight if I install them and place the carbs back in?? I will have to flip this over. The jet seems pretty snugg but I'm just worried it will pop out.  Should it b fine?

that leaf spring retains it,,,,,against the inside of the float bowl,,,you dont need to remove the carbs to change the jets,,with some dexterity you can wrangle the bowls off and back on in situ.

On the contrary, it's not difficult at all. I can do it blindfolded.

+1 on that. I use a short stubby phillips screw driver with 1/2 to 2/3 of its handle cut off.
