Three Stooges Fan's?
« on: March 11, 2012, 04:04:01 PM »

Sad truth is, the trailer usually show's the best part of the movie...you still have another hour & a half to sit through.
I will say though, these guys seem alot better than anyone else I've seen play the stooges.

With due respect, NOBODY except the Stooges can play the Stooges.
It's just not the same. What's your favorite episode?............

Hollywood is dead! That's why we are offered nothing at the theatres but crap-tastic re-boots, crap-tastic-remakes, crap-tastic scripts, and so-called talent. There is not an original idea, person, nor any intelligence anywhere near that #$%*-hole.

A Plumbing We Will Go.

Grew up watching these guys and have no interest in seeing anyone remake them.  They still make me laugh.

I'm a huge fan.  Back in the late '80s, I recorded episodes off of WWOR channel 9.  I had over 100 or the 180 shorts they put out.  They're all out on DVD now, which reminds me my DVD player ate one of them.  I actualy preferred the Shemp shorts with Income Tax Sappy, Baby Sitter Jitters, and one I can't recall the title of but Shemp throwing an iron and hitting Moe on the head by accident makes me chuckle just thinking about it.  It had a hilarious spot where they were painting a table as well.

Men in Black is one of my favorites.

"Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard"...

But then pretty much anything with Curly was a smash in my book.

Curly's last appearance in a Stooge short playing a passenger on a train in 1947's "Hold That Lion". This was after Curly's stroke that led to his retirement.

I love a plumbing we will go, partly because of the history, they pipe water to the gas lights. You see how things were just 60-80 years ago, fish sellers on the street, ice men delivering ice to homes, traffic cops standing in the intersections, there may have even been a motorcycle or two.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.

The one where they had that race horse and had to keep pepperinos in front of it.  I still laugh when I think about Larry drinking out of that horse trough!
