P50 "Little Honda" tire repair
« on: March 13, 2012, 02:06:40 PM »
I went to use my little blue P50 and found the rear tire was going flat.

So naturally the first thing I have to do is pull the engine.

It's not really all that big a deal though, probably takes about the same amount of time as it would to do the rear tire on my CB500. It just looks a little drastic for a flat tire.

All I've got to do now is wait for a new tire and tube to get here and then re-assemble

grcamna2: Here is a picture of the drive side of the engine. The wheel has a splined hub that indexes the center of the final driven sprocket.

Here's a shot of the internals. The final driven sprocket is the one on the stationary axle. It is splined on the inside to accept the wheel.
