Gasket kit
« on: March 14, 2012, 11:39:35 AM »
I am looking for a good complete top-end gasket kit for a CB750 K5.  Cycle Xchange is currently out of stock.  Any other suggestions where I could find one of good quality?

Thanks

Just got mine from Z1 enterprises, Vesrah kit, it DOES NOT come with the rubber pucks. You can order them at the same time if you need them.

+1 on Vesrah, do not buy a cheap set off eBay, they are worse than nothing.  Vesrah, end of story.

Thanks guys.  I will order today.  My rubber pucks seem to be in pretty good shape, still flexible, no cracks, etc.  I should be ok reusing, right?   Or should I replace while its apart?

Bet you already know the answer to that. But since your in there and that is a major problem area for leaks I would be changing them.

You could go with Cometic for the head and base gaskets and buy the Honda for everything else too.
It would cost more than the Vesrah but be way, way better.

What I've noticed lately: the Vesrah top-end kits for the 1974 and later 750 don't have the pucks, while the complete engine kit a,d the pre-1973 versions do. (?)
