I get it tomorrow and looking forward to it. It's old enough to qualify for a "Collector" licence plate which means cheaper insurance and having "several", as the program specifies, collector bikes the licence plate can be moved from bike to bike. When I ride one of the K1's I worry too much about where I park them. Plus you can never get away from it what with all the people asking questions about it. You know what that's like! I want to be able to have a spirited ride and park it without someone getting too interested in it. I may have to find a stock exhaust system. The parts for the DOHC's seem quite cheap compared to the SOHC's. The DOHC's became the UJM - Universal Japanese Motorcycle - pretty quickly. Nothing wrong with that but they lack the originality and stunningly good look of all the SOHC's.
I've heard about the stator issue and now read that they have had issues with cam chain failure. I've also seen pictures of the carbs in pieces! Wow! Something to watch out for.
I have to keep my OCB in check though.
I have a tendacy to get carried away and still have a couple of projects to complete too.
