'80 C650C Oil info
« on: March 14, 2012, 02:24:40 PM »
Trying to get my rat road worthy and need some info. I know there are manuals on this site but the online pics are a bit fuzzy. Does anyone know the oil capacity on an '80 CB650C? Also, bike oil vs. standard motor oil..... I've heard some difference of opinion. Is the "motorcycle" oil really worth the extra $? Lastly, I'm in Raleigh NC, my odometer reads 31000mi (before speedo cable broke), what's the best weight oil to use?

Thanks,
Bob

I use motor oil. I think the last stuff I used was Motorcraft. If it's good enough for modern Fords it's good enough for me.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.
