Did Honda make any other oddball colors/models that were only sold in select places?

Yes, Polynesian Blue.  I believe it was a European only color, but available on a 450. I plan to use it on my K1.
Hino - any other info on this color?

Polynesian blue  (color code: EG) was used on the USA market 750 K1 for a very short time than dropped. However, it was available in all other markets.

It was also used on the USA market 1971 CB450 K3 Super Sport throughout it’s production.

It's no longer listed, I bet it was sold to someone with deep pockets.

Plenty of stupid money in that town!

I am sure Mick has those bars on just to move it around, he's a bit of a rev head and has some very hot engines, Look closely at the engine in the silver bike, 1000cc billet block with RS34 Mikuni carbs....  The decals can either be painted on or bought aftermarket...

brandEn, It would be way cool to see a JDM K4 silver paint job reproduced. You might start a new trend around here for others to follow.  ;D

I am really thinking this is the way to go! If I have that paint code and give it to my painter can it be mixed? Is that all that is needed? Also do you know if the blue tank stripes can be had?

paint codes don't work like that for these older bikes.  From what I've read on here, Honda didn't use the same codes as the rest of the auto paint industry pre-1982(?).  You need to find someone who has it and get the color matched in a spectrometer.  Try contacting marble paints and dondirtbiker, don't have time to get the url's but do a search.  They may have matched them before.

Japanese Domestic Market.  Heheh google is your friend.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

Nice score, Branden.  I really like the blue color, but the silver would sure make it stand out in a crowd, that's for sure.

Thanks Larry. I really like the blue as well but its a 75 tank and color. I would like to keep it a stock 74 scheme. But I may change my mind down the road when I get to that point.
