yes I think a few things are  wrong.. I'm just gonna wait till tmrw and have a guy who has few 750's and knows what he's doing come and show me correctly.

The shaft the rod and pedal connect to that goes through the frame. It looks to me if you push the pedal down the rod will push rather than pull.

That was some important info to leave out. I don't know about the 500/550, but the 750 F and K models are very different at the rear. One major difference between the 750 F and 750 K is the rear swingarm brake stay mount. With the shock mounts facing up, the 750 F model (disk) brake stay mount point is on TOP of the swingarm, while the 750 K model (drum) brake stay mount point is on the BOTTOM of the swingarm (again with the shock mounts facing up). You may need to use the K swingarm with the K (drum) rear brake.

My pic up the page is with a K frame and an F swing arm. The K had an open end arm, the F closed.

Yea I just went out there and pushed on the rear brake... It pushes instead of pulls... So I just flip it around?

Take the brake pedal off, rotate the brake pedal pivot approx 180 degrees clockwise, reinstall brake pedal.

I did take the tri mechanism off... I can't loosen the peg bolt and inside bolt at all... Some reason there locked on tight and won't budge..n even had a friend come and try today and he couldn't beleive how tight that was and why it wouldn't loosen... I don't want to snap the bolt in the reatset. Can that setup be switched without pulling the peg out? I'm having it taken in on Thursday for complete wireing... Chain on and the guy said he can fix the brake issue. When I pick it up it will be ready to go.
